Barton Springs Pool

This swimming pool is one of Austin’s most famous sites, and you can enjoy a refreshing swim just minutes from downtown! Located within Zilker Park, Barton Springs is the ideal place to cool down and hangout. The pool is fed from underground springs, and maintains a cool temperature all year round! Depths range from 0’-18’, and  the pool itself is surrounded by grassy areas for locals to relax. Every Thursday, the pool is closed from 9a-7p for an intense cleaning process that allows both the guests and wildlife to enjoy. Visit one of Austin’s most funky scenes in the South Congress District! This is THE place to not only take a nice stroll, but to also visit some eclectic boutiques that you wouldn’t find anywhere else! The Thinkery

This museum is great for every child from infant age to 11 years old with special areas designated for babies and toddlers.
